What I Create

Fashion Accessories Wearable Art		Hand painting and marbling scarves is lots of fun. I can start with a general idea of what I am after, sometimes I get that and sometimes I get something totally surprising and wonderful. My fashion silk scarves and cashmere pashminas, as well as cotton scarves, and soon in rayon will make a unique fashion statement. Each scarf is hand crafted and cannot be repeated.
Art for Your Home On the Wall Art		Each of my wall pieces is unique and completely hand made. My inspirations range from color interactions to landscape scenes from the island of Nantucket where I have my studio. My work ranges from hand painted silk to monoprints on paper. Each piece is unique and cannot be repeated.
Home Accessories Off the Wall Art		My hand crafted pillows are done in marbled or painted silk, cotton or bamboo. Some are backed with commercial fabrics, some with coordinating painted or marbled fabrics. Sizes range from small throw pillows to larger floor or sofa pillows. The pillow insert is down-filled and can be removed through the zippered opening for cleaning. A totally different and unique accent for your sofa or bed, my pillows are each hand done and cannot be repeated.

Nantucket Sheep & Wool Yarn		For several years I was with the Nantucket Sheep & Wool project, raising sheep at Lost Farm on Nantucket with 3 other shepherds. We had eleven sheep that were more friends than flock. The yarns are from the last shearing in which I was involved. Each Kit is approximately 6 ounces of yarn and includes 2 patterns. Limited quantities available.

Ordering Info: My pieces are all one of a kind and cannot be repeated. The website is set up so that, if someone has selected an item to their shopping cart but not yet puchased it, if you select the item you will get an error. Please come back to the site after a little while. If the person has not purchased the piece, it will be available for you to select. Once a piece has been purchased, it will no longer appear on the website.

Returns: Due to differences in monitor settings, it is impossible to represent exactly the colors of a piece of artwork online. Therefore, when you have recieved your piece, if the color is not what you expected or does not match your decor, you may return it. You will recieve a refund as long as the piece is in perfect selling condition on reciept. It is highly recommended that any piece valued at over $100 be insured. A return lable will be included with your purchase.

Commissions: At this time I am unable to take commissons for work. If the time comes that I can 'quit my day job' I will consider doing commisions.
